Adventist Forum Meetings are being revived at City Church! The L.A. Adventist Forum will take place every fourth Sabbath, beginning this August 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Our guest speaker will be Pastor Ryan Bell, Senior Pastor of the Hollywood Seventh-day Adventist Church--his topic is "Missional Church: Beyond Evangelism to Authentic, Credible Witness." All are welcome. The next Forum meeting will be September 27.
Laguna Beach’s annual Sawdust Art Festival season is approaching, and the Church Social Committee plans to organize a group tour. This not-for-profit event (www.sawdustartfestival.org), named “the Best Festival” in 2007, aims both to entertain and educate, and annually draws more than 200,000 visitors.
