Adult Sabbath Schools

We have two adult Sabbath School classes that get underway around 9:30 a.m. The first is a traditional class that follows the weekly lesson and satisfies the hearts of our valued conservative members. It is well-taught by a warm teaching staff, and is both informative and inspirational. It meets in the charming, recently renovated chapel.

The second class has an urban-liberal flavor to it and often takes on the stimulating issues of our day. It frequently pushes the envelope but does so in a way sensitive to an Adventist audience. The one generally teaching this class is Leif Lind, who welcomes and encourages class participation from all of its members. Come early for a good seat—this class is well attended!

Children's Sabbath School

Sabbath School Song Service

Song Service begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Youth Center for children of all ages. Children use instruments, learn new songs every quarter, learn sign language for a prayer song, and use movement/actions to engage their whole body in worship. Puppets sing along with the children (Junior Sabbath School participants learn puppetry) during the song service.  

Sabbath School Classes

Our Sabbath School Classes use Gracelink Curriculum developed and produced by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The curriculum offers hand-on activities and provides opportunities for children to use all their senses. It also offers children of all learning styles an opportunity to grow and learn. Sabbath School lesson starts at 9:45 a.m.

Kindergarten (3-5 yrs) - Room 4 (Giraffe)
Primary (6-9 yrs) - Room 2 (Eagle)
Junior (10-13 yrs) - Room 1 (Lion)
Teen (14-18 yrs) - Room 10b (Fish)
